Compassion and Community with Residential Treatment

Residential Treatment refers to a live-in facility where clients have the opportunity for intensive treatment services. This level of care can last anyway from one month to several, depending on the individual’s own unique recovery plan. Our residential treatment programs are individually designed to offer the most fulfilling and meaningful experience. Clients have comfortable and “home like” living arrangements, as well as daily structure, freedom, and independence.

Residential Treatment

The main goal of the Palm Partners Residential Treatment program is not just to help our clients achieve lasting sobriety, but to also contribute to each client’s life in a way that will help them reach their maximum potential. This level of care includes a variety of therapeutic services, including individual and group therapy, relapse prevention courses, 12 Step integration, and extensive education on the science of addiction and recovery.

Residential Treatment allows clients to feel a sense of independence, while also providing a safe environment and a supportive community.

Who benefits from Residential Treatment?

Anyone can benefit from having access to Residential Treatment. It can be the next step for those who are gradually progressing through more intensive levels of care. Those who seek medical detox due to concerns about withdrawal definitely benefit from residential programs, and detox services are often included as a part of a Residential Treatment program. After completing the necessary detox, patients also have the oppurtnity to undergo an intensive, daily drug or alcohol treatment regimen to learn about the disease of addiction in a supportive, immersive environment.

This level of care can also give others a chance to find additional support. Residential Treatment programs are ideal for people who have unsuccessfully attempted to overcome addiction in outpatient programs, or for people who have identified that they need drug or alcohol treatment and want to “do it right” the first time.

Because Residential Treatment is provided in a safe, structured environment patients can be removed from stressful circumstances that promote or fuel the urge to use drugs or alcohol. Removing these negative influences and experiences from an individual’s daily life allows participants to work on building life skills that had been interfered with due to addiction.

The appropriate level of care for each patient should be determined by an in-person assessment with a qualified medical or counseling professional. Most often, patients who have attempted outpatient programs without success do require residential care.
