This week may have you wanting to crawl into a “safe” place to hide and isolate. But, dear Aries, you know better than that. It’s OK if you need to set some time aside for yourself for quiet meditation but, if it becomes a tendency so that you can avoid what’s going on, then you know the appropriate steps to take – reach out to your sober supports, get involved in service, basically, be outward-focused. By helping others, you will be helping yourself and you will feel better for it.
You have recently learned an important lesson when it comes to having expectations of others – it might be something that happened in your social group or with your coworkers. This is a great opportunity to see how much you really have grown by how willing and quickly you are able to clean your side of the street and shake things off so that you don’t catch any resentments. Another measure of your maturity is your willingness to reach out to others, such as your sponsor and other sober supports if you need support with doing this. Remember Taurus, it’s a “we” program and you don’t have to figure it out all by yourself.
Your brain will be buzzing a hundred miles per minute, especially at work, this week, Gemini. Don’t rush the process and be patient; the real solutions will come to you when you are ready. In the meantime, be open to the possibilities – when it comes to the job and also when it comes to doing things and how you think things should look. Practice being unattached to the outcome; when we try to control things, that’s when we can get into trouble. Practice saying the Serenity prayer, if you need to.
You find that this week is all about dealing with other people’s feelings but, this is somewhat of an illusion, Cancer. It’s true, we get to be compassionate and understanding towards others but, you have to remember that you also can’t control how others might feel. Be true to yourself and do what is in your best interest. If others catch feelings because of that well, you can’t really help that. At the end of the day, you have only yourself and your Higher Power to answer to.
This week has you feeling a bit impatient, powerful Leo, and you might find your thoughts drifting back to old, familiar ground. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It’s what you do with these thoughts that’s important. Practice meditation and using the tools you’ve been given so that you can simply observe these thoughts in passing; that is, they don’t have to stick around. Acknowledge yourself for the ground you’ve taken and be sure to talk about the stuff that might still bother you from time to time. Remember: progress not perfection – you can’t become a Yogi in one day.
It’s all about clear communication this week for you, Virgo, and this is a good time to practice being a good listener – not just listening for you turn to speak. That will only lead to frustration and agitation on both your part and the other person’s. Be a giver by really listening to what it is someone is saying and ask questions if you don’t “get it” the first time. See how good it feels to be there for someone else in this way and then to have that same compassion and understanding extended to you when it’s your turn. If you find that the other person isn’t willing to be there for you, then it might be time to reevaluate the relationship.
Job-related issues are the theme for you this week and, although you may start to feel overwhelmed at times, the most practical and efficient approach will most likely be the best. Practice addressing things as they come and not getting carried away; staying present to the task at-hand, even if it a bit boring, is a great habit to get into. You will find that it will help you in being grounded and grateful for the little moments that make up life. As the great John Lennon – a fellow Libra, by the way – once said, “Life is what happens while you are busy making plans.”
You’re experiencing a creative phase but, this week you might stumble upon some obstacles, such as writer’s block, with getting those creative juices flowing. Take your time instead of trying to force things to happen. Remember that creativity is a process and that what you are producing this week may not even be the whole shebang…it might only be part and parcel of a greater, larger project that comes together in the future. Be sure to find some balance between work and play, Scorpio. You just might find that the time you allow yourself to “goof-off” just might remove the obstacle and get things flowing again.
Generally speaking, you are the confident type and that tends to attract others to you, Sag. Sometimes, though, people misinterpret this as being overly-confident, boastful, and maybe even uncompassionate. It’s OK to be yourself but also try to understand the situation from multiple points of view. Seeing all sides of an issue is a great way to create common ground.
You may be feeling extra-distractible this week, Cap, which can keep you from completing the things you have planned. Resist getting caught up in gossip and drama. Conserve your energy and be careful not to spread yourself too thin. You may want to reach for the energy drinks or coffee but, try this: cut back on caffeine and get some much-needed rest. You will be surprised at how well this works ar recharging your batteries and getting a fresh start.
You feel torn between being in the spotlight and working behind the scenes this week and a lot of this is coming from a displaced belief that someone else is to blame for holding you back when it comes to realizing your true potential. When, in actuality, what’s holding you back is…you. This stems from the things you’ve been telling yourself: that you’re not good enough or smart enough or talented enough. This is your ego messing with you because, as silly as it may sound, what you fear is success. You are not alone – this is what holds a lot of people back in life. Aquarius, it’s time to change those conversations and also allow yourself to be acknowledged. You have a lot of good people around you who are more than happy to sing your praises – it’s time you started listening.
Pisces, you’re an excitable little monkey this week, as usual. You let yourself be distracted with the goings-on of your friends, coworkers, family members, and so on. You might feel bombarded by all of this and part of you is more than happy to get swept away. You’re used to having a gazillion thoughts at once and so you might find that you trip over your words due to your excitement. Just let the thoughts go. Don’t worry, the important ones will return once things slow down.
